The Major
League Gaming World Finals will feature half a million dollars in prize
winnings this year.
Held
at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, the event will feature Call of Duty: Advanced
Warfare and Dota 2. Both games will have dedicated world championship brackets
pitting some of the greatest players in the world against each other for the
world title.
This
will mark the 100th event put on by the MLG. To date, the organization boasts
over 50,000 live event competitors, 45 million online matches played by 10
million registered users, and $13.5 million awarded in prize money.
This event will take place October 16-18. Those interested can purchase tickets online or watch the event online.

prize pool funded by fan
