News 2015 Major League Gaming Finals Live Event Has $500k In Prizes


The Major League Gaming World Finals will feature half a million dollars in prize winnings this year.
Held at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, the event will feature Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Dota 2. Both games will have dedicated world championship brackets pitting some of the greatest players in the world against each other for the world title.
This will mark the 100th event put on by the MLG. To date, the organization boasts over 50,000 live event competitors, 45 million online matches played by 10 million registered users, and $13.5 million awarded in prize money.

This event will take place October 16-18. Those interested can purchase tickets online or watch the event online.
